Hawaii Residents
If you are a Hawaii resident, the state requires your participation in one of their health plans, and we offer HMSA as your healthcare provider in Hawaii. Newly eligible staff members will be sent enrollment information for the available plans. Additionally, we ask that you also enroll in one of the Young Life health plans as this coverage may be utilized for certain services not provided for under the Hawaii plans you choose.
The HMSA coverage options are outlined in detail on Staff Resources. Please note that you may select a PPO plan for medical and an HMO plan for dental; this also applies to your vision and prescription plans. You can review each healthcare package by selecting the various SBCs below.

Open Enrollment
You are given the option in May of each year to make changes to your current plans. During this month, please review the SBCs (Summaries of Benefits and Coverage) as well as the plan booklets shown below to determine if you want to make any changes. If you wish to do so, please send an email to the Benefits department with your new selections. All changes will go into effect in July.
