Benefits Info

This page provides information about the Health Reimbursement Accounts for part-time employees working in San Francisco.

In accordance with the San Francisco Health Security Ordinance, Young Life has established a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) arrangement for all part-time employees who work in the city of San Francisco. The HRA we have established is intended to provide reimbursement for any out-of-pocket dental and vision expenses that are incurred during an employee’s coverage period up to the available balance in that employee’s account. Account balances will be determined based on the number of hours paid in each quarter.

To qualify for an HRA contribution, an employee must work, on average, 8 hours per week within the given quarter. (Employees don’t need to work 8 hours every week, but the total hours for a quarter, divided by the number of weeks in a quarter (13) must be at least 8 hours.) This contribution will be deposited into the employee’s HRA account at the end of each quarter and will remain available to the employee for a 27-month period.

To be reimbursed for the eligible expenses, the reimbursement form below must be completed and sent to our vendor, Administrative Solutions, Inc. (ASI) for handling. Claims will then be processed, and a reimbursement can be expected with 30 days after submission if available funds remain in the employee’s account.
