Welcome to 2026 Open Enrollment!
Open Enrollment is now live! From October 29 to November 12, 2025, you’ll have the opportunity to review your benefits, explore new updates, and make any necessary changes for the 2026 plan year.
All changes will go into effect on January 1, 2026.
This is the one time each year when you can make changes or elect voluntary benefits without a qualifying life event, such as marriage or the birth of a child.
What You Need to Do
- Explore Your Benefit Offerings
- Learn more about your plan choices and what’s available in 2026 by exploring this site! This is your chance to review your options and choose the plans that best fit your family’s needs.
- Enroll or Make Changes
- To enroll or make changes to your benefits plan, visit the enrollment site and select your desired options.
Note: This is a passive enrollment: If you don’t make any changes, your current elections will carry over automatically —except for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), which must be re-elected each year.
Updates for 2026
What’s not changing? Your insurance carriers are not changing, which means you can still go to the same providers you know and trust! Medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans will largely remain unchanged with certain exceptions as outlined below.
What’s new in 2026? After prayerful consideration, Young Life’s leadership and benefits committee have adopted the following changes to our 2026 benefits plan. These changes keep us compliant and manage increasing benefits costs while, most importantly, ensuring that the overall plans provide our staff and loved ones with very competitive benefits.
Teladoc Services
Teladoc services for urgent care, dermatology, and mental health will be available at no cost for both health plans.
- Connect with board-certified doctors and health professionals via phone, video, or app.
- Access care easily, without in-network deductibles or co-pays.
Visit TeladocHealth.com or call 800-835-2362 to get started.
Pharmacy Plan Update: Weight Loss Medications
Weight loss medications will no longer be covered by our pharmacy plan, effective March 1, 2026.
- Due to rising demand and significant cost increases, medications such as Wegovy and Zepbound are being removed from coverage. These drugs currently cost the plan an average of $1,200 per member each month, and this change is expected to save over $1 million in 2026.
- If you’re currently using these medications, look for a letter from RxBenefits/Optum Rx with details.
IRS-Driven Plan Adjustments
Per IRS regulations, please note the following plan updates:
- 80/50 High Deductible Health Plan:
- Individual deductible: $1,700 (was $1,650)
- Family deductible: $3,400 (was $3,300)
- Out-of-network deductible: $2,500/$5,000 (was $2,250/$4,500)
- FSA Maximums for 2026:
- Healthcare FSA: $3,400/year | Rollover: $680
- Dependent Care FSA: $7,500/year ($3,750/spouse if married filing separately)
Coming in January: Dependent Verification Audit
To ensure compliance and stewardship of our plans, we’ll be launching a dependent eligibility audit in January 2026. If you have dependents enrolled in Young Life’s medical plan, you’ll need to submit verification documents.
Beginning in January 2026, you’ll receive a letter from Dependent Specialists, Inc. (DSI) with clear instructions on:
- What documents to submit
- How to submit documents
- How to locate missing documents
Examples of eligible dependents:
- Legal spouse
- Children under 26 (including legal stepchildren and adopted children)
If you currently have dependent(s) enrolled that do not meet the eligibility rules, please be sure to remove those dependents(s) proactively during this Open Enrollment period. If your child is turning 26 next year, you’ll leave them on the plan, and coverage will automatically terminate at the end of the month when they turn 26.
